It is interesting the conversations you can strike up when you spend 8 hours in a customer service line when your flight is canceled from snow delays in Seattle… I met Emily in line, she was trying to find a flight to get her to her panel at the Tucson Festival of Books and we talked about her books, writing and just random stuff. I would never of picked her book off the shelf but it was a good read. A story of friendships and how they evolve over time. Really made me think about some of the long lasting friendships that I cherish… (I have started another of her books now, Cactus League)

Finished reading: Clutch A Novel by Emily Nemens 📚
